Jay Brown is a young songwriter from London.Her debut EP 'Waiting' features 5 tracks which showcase her love of Rock, Soul, Ska, Reggae and Pop in her uniquely raw and vibrant style.
The EP has been produced and arranged by Christian Hardy who performs in two time Ivor Novello nominated band 'The Leisure Society'.(Their debut 'The Sleeper' which Hardy also produced was named iTunes Singer Songwriter album of 2009 and a Rough Trade album of 2009.)
The E.P features a variety of Hardy's musician friends such as string arranger Amy May (Elbow, Jeff Beck, Muse), drummer Sebastian Hankins (The Leisure Society) and bassist Marcus Hamblett (Laura Marling, Sons Of Noel & Adrian), with Jay and Christian playing everything else.
Jay is currently gigging around London with a new band whilst she looks for a management team and record label to help launch her music to a wider audience.She recently played a show at Le Bataclan in Paris supporting her sister VV.
